Johnny Zhang
MBA of University of Bridgeport, Major in Corporate Finance and Risk Management. Johnny has more than 10-year experience in international trading and real estate investment, deeply understanding the local real estate market and financing procedures. Johnny is now responsible for project filtering and risk screening while being responsible for CrowdFunz's strategic implementation and day-to-day operations.
Chen Jin
Chen used to work for institutions in roles related to Risk Management, Due Diligence, and Capital Market Research. He studied MBA at Lehigh University, MS at Temple University, and Bachelor of Engineering at Shanghai University. He is responsible for fund securitization and branding of CrowdFunz.
Adam Gao
Adam used to study Master program of Computer Science at New York Institute of Technology and obtained his Bachelor of Computer Science from North University of China. He has a decade of experience in website development, including front-end and back-end developments, and he also has dedicated in several open-source projects. Prior practices make Adam be familiar with front-end framework, user behavior analytics, search engine optimization, and efficient algorithm for data analysis. Adam is responsible for IT development and website maintenance at CrowdFunz.
Neil Liu
Majored in Economics and History, Baruch College, certificated in Business Foundations Specialization from Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania. Neil has worked as a purchasing manager in NY region for a Chinese regional medical supply company, sales manager in a logistic company and property manager at a property management boutique firm. Neil has a wealth of experiences in customer relationship, business development and project acquisition. Neil is now engaged in investor relationship maintenance and follow-ups with projects.
Rick Zhao
Rick graduated from University of California, Irvine, with bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and master’s degree in Finance. He has worked with multiple venture capital firms and specializes in investment due diligence, leveraged finance, exit strategies, and supportive financial modeling. Rick has strong expertise in Private Equity and corporate operation, and currently oversees marketing and business development efforts at CrowdFunz.
Tom Wu
Tom is one of the Chinese pioneers and representatives of New York real estate industry. He started his real estate endeavor in 1990s. During the past 30 years, Tom had completed countless large-scale real estate developments, and is known for his outstanding project management and developments. Currently, Tom has multiple ongoing commercial and residential developments in Queens, New York, and is an active advisor to CrowdFunz, providing precious insights in developments, fundraising, and investing.
Kenny Zhang
Mr. Zhang is the president and chairman of board of directors of Potsdam Specialty Paper Inc., and he is also the vice president of New York Chinese Business Association. Mr. Zhang have more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and real estate development and has participated several institutional-grade real estate developments. Mr. Zhang possesses unique insights about startups and has accumulated substantial experience about venture capital. Mr. Zhang obtained the MED Week Manufacturer Award of New York District granted by U.S. Department of Commerce in 2010, and he awarded Ellis Island Medal of Honor, the highest award for immigrants, in 2011.
Lin Pan
Lin Pan founded Lin Pan Realty in 2012. The firm specializes in high-end real estate brokerage in Metropolitan New York. Under her leadership, the company had achieved respectable performance and earned great reputation among Asian homebuyers and investors.
Longbin Chen
Longbin received his MS in Computer Science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and his Ph. D in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Barbara. He used to work at Microsoft, Yahoo, and Twitter and led research team at Houzz for years. Longbin has devoted himself in IT industry for 3 decades, making contributions on Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Mining, Market Analysis, User Growth, Search Engine Optimization, and Algorithms. He made great contributions to IT applications, database structure, and server construction for CrowdFunz during its early stage.
Ellen Wang
Ellen got her Ph.D in Computer Science from Florida International University and Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Science and Technology of China. In her prior career, Ellen worked for Foxit Software, Inc. and GE Digital in Silicon Valley, being responsible for the development of website and back-end Management Information System. Ellen dedicated herself to CrowdFunz’s website construction, technology development, APIs, and cybersecurity in its early stage.
Clem G. Turner
Mr. Turner received his B.A. from Princeton University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Turner was admitted to practice in New York and in California, and he has significant experience in immigration investment, early stage and venture capital finance, securities law, general business and corporate counseling with more than two decades of experience. Mr. Turner has been selected multiple times as one of the “Top 25 EB-5 Attorneys” by EB-5 Investors magazine, meanwhile, he is a respected member of the EB-5 trade association, “Invest in the USA” (IIUSA), and currently serves on its Public Policy Committee and Chairs its Securities Law Sub-Committee.
Ning Lu
MS in Architecture, Harvard University, Licensed architect designated by AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, and Adjunct Faculty Member at Baruch College, CUNY. Having been researching, teaching, and practicing architecture in both China and the United States over two decades, Ms. Lu has accumulated experience in the architectural development of luxury condominium, hospitality, as well as community, medical, and retail space. She has also contributed to an aggregate of several million square feet of new developments to New York’s skyline. Ms. Lu was a senior designer and project manager at SLCE Architects, and later, she founded Lu Ning Architecture in 2010.
